Edmonton, Alberta
Hi, I’m Kevin.
I’m an engineer by trade and a community builder at heart. I build software, play music for dance floors, teach people to dance, and I’m now building a marketplace for artists. Ultimately, my passion is bringing people together, in today's world dominated by AI that only exacerbates the ongoing loneliness epidemic.
What I care about
- People firstUltimately we are all human and everything ever created by mankind is done in service of humans. Technology, events, and businesses should serve the people using them.
- Community over transactionsThe best things I’ve been part of grew from deep, meaningful relationships. I put my heart and soul into what I do and the people I support.
- Showing upReliability matters. Whether it’s a deadline, a dance night, or a promise to a friend, if I commit to being there, I will be there.
- Doing it properlyAn engineer’s mindset: understand the problem, then build something that fixes it. No band-aids.
- Ethics"If you have integrity, nothing else matters.
If you don't have integrity, nothing else matters." - Alan K. Simpson - Having funLife is too short to not enjoy it every step of the way. Never forget to actually live.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me social dancing, teaching dance, playing music in the DJ booth, wandering an anime convention artist alley, video gaming, or playing sports.
